Alexandre DELYE

After earning my degree from Télécom SudParis in 2004 and my Ph.D. from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2007, I continued my research in applied mathematics at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States, one of the world’s most renowned federal research institutes for its contributions to science and metrology.Between 2007 and 2010, this postdoctoral fellowship deepened my understanding of complex scientific issues and their industrial applications.

I began my career in intellectual property in 2010 at the firm IPAZ as a patent engineer. There, I gained extensive experience in writing, analyzing technical documents, and strategic portfolio management, particularly in the field of information technology.In this context, I earned the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) graduate diploma (2012), and subsequently qualified as a French Patent Attorney (Examen de Qualification Français) and a European Patent Attorney (European Qualifying Examination) in 2015.

In 2017, I joined IP TRUST, where I now serve as a partner and patent attorney in the ICT practice group.I assist deep-tech startups, SMBs, and technologically advanced corporations in structuring, protecting, and commercializing their inventions.

As part of my ongoing efforts to further my legal education, I earned a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law in 2021, followed by the Patent Litigation in Europe Certificate in 2022.

Author of several scientific publications, I am deeply committed to the profession: I served as co-chair of the Patent Commission at the French Institute of Industrial Property Attorneys’ (CNCPI) for six years, was a member of the EQF jury for five years, and am a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
